CLub and Goals

doubleUP got its start from the wakeboard school at the "dirtys" surf shop in Murten. In early 2015, we founded the club, formed our board, and set up shop at the "Des Bains" restaurant in Murten. After four awesome years at that great spot, the restaurant closed and was sold at the end of 2018. Since 2019, we've been operating directly out of the Murten harbor.

At our club, we're not in it for profit—we do everything on a volunteer basis. We're all about creating fun, sporty ways to enjoy our free time around Lake Murten, and we work to promote wakeboarding and wakesurfing to a wide audience. We’re all in on supporting culture, sports, and keeping Murten a great place to be.

Building camaraderie with like-minded people and organizing events around wakeboarding and wakesurfing are also key parts of what we do. Above all, fun and enjoyment come first for us.
